If you look at the reviews, you will quickly see this is by far the best dual band DMR portable radio available for less than $4,000. The version we sell includes GPS, programming cable and a 3100 mAh lithium battery. Some of our competitor might sell you the radio with the standard smaller 2100 mAh battery, no GPS, and charge you for the programming cable. The only question you have to ask is if you should get it from us or one of our competitors.
Have you ever tried to get support from some of our competitors. If you know Mandarin Chinese and you have free international calling you will have no problems. "Once emailed Connect Systems in the early morning hours east coast time. Knowing they were west coast and would not be open for hours I was surprised to get an email response from Jerry personally before they were even open." (From Facebook)
"I've always has good support from Connect Systems. Chris is amazing." (From Facebook)

I've had my AnyTone for a few weeks now and I am very happy with it. It's pretty easy to program, feels like it's built well. Battery life is impressive, it'll go at least a few days with my screen light timer set at 30 sec.
I just haven't had the time to really get the radio programed yet. Will se as I go through the programming.
The Anytone AT-D868UV is a fantastic radio and a great value. Mechanically it's a solid, well-built radio with a good layout of controls. The receive audio is outstanding and has plenty of volume. On-air reports about the transmit audio are good too. In my opinion this radio rivals other more expensive models found in the commercial LMR world.
I just bought my second one and even got the extra high cap battery to boot. I dont buy anything 2 times unless its exactly what I want. Cant be happier. Great range and easy to understand display. Have friends who buy other rigs that have this one and all say this is their favorite. Thumbs up.
Needs better antenna
5 stars assuming next software allows complete lock of radio for Part 90 use, which it is supposed to. Have only had radio 3 days, but so far I've found it to be a very nice radio for the price. I have used it briefly for both analog FM and DMR conversations, and it has worked well. Receive sensitivity is slightly less than some other radios, but so far has not presented me any problems (sitting in a basement room surrounded by electronic equipment talking on local repeaters). Support from CSI has been great, questions answered very promptly. It should be noted the radio is not dual-receive (not a problem for me, but worth noting). Dual band, dual mode, and dual channel display - but only one channel can be received at any given time. Battery life appears to be excellent - I've still got a full charge on first charge after multiple hours of use over 3 days.
Volume Control Not functioning properly. Try adjusting the volume while listening to a contact and the sound blanks out for a few milliseconds. Very hard to adjust the volume.
Ham user friendly, great audio, Holds entire DMR User DataBase. Solid build.
The radio is excellent in all respects, high quality despite the misleading low cost. My only drawback is that I am a MAC user and have to run the programming software under emulation. It took a while to get running, but the directions are complete. I would not hesitate to recommend this radio to anyone.
My perspective is from higher-end equip. (Hytera X1P and Motorola XPR 6550/7550).
PRO: Radio V2.27/CPS V1.27 very stable, radio construction quality better than expected. Screen resolution good. Export functions to csv/excel really work well. Purchased for the dual-slot promiscuous mode; its the best yet and can decode CC, Slot and TG (or any settable combination), and comes this way from factory. Has channels label/name or freq. display mode. Can handle mixed CTCSS codes or mixed CTCSS/DCS codes on same analog channel - great for the 462/467 MHz GMRS. SMA antenna connector. Reasonably small size except w/3300 mAh battery' make sure and order the smaller 2200 mAh battery. Wideband 25 kHz capable. Has an FM broadcast receiver - have not tried.
Con: Display turns *off* after it times out, instead of tuning to a B&W mode; display unreadable in direct sunlight; lacks display of RSSI in dBm; scan/search speed too slow; lacks a 6.25 kHz or 1.25 kHz frequency step setting in UHF (in 2018, really??); charger is not capable of rapid 1hr. charging. No automatic roaming capability (did not expect, however). We don't need audio recording - we need activity logging when band scanning (logs freq, cc, ts, tg, ctcss, no. of hits, maybe airtime and RSSI).
Even with these issues, this is a good radio for a repeater owner to carry to monitor any activity on their repeater, UHF or VHF.
Unit itself is solidly built, audio is loud and clear and battery life is outstanding! My gripe is the receive performance on 2 meters analog is very deficient or should I say lacking. With the OEM antenna I can not hear anything, whereas my other analog HTs are sounding off the on-going transmissions. I tried a high-gain Diamond antenna I use on one of my analog HT, and it improved just a bit. My cheap BaoFeng HT and Radioddity GD77 outperforms the receive performance of the Anytone UV868UV in Analog 2 meter very convincingly without a doubt. I do not care what the spec says, it just sucks. Overall, I could easily give a 5 star, but since I intentionally purchased this radio for DMR use, I can only give it a 4 star. I hope some firmware can address this analog deficiency, unless it is a hardware deficiency, then tough luck for me.
