G90
Been wanting one since they 1st came out and with the Black Friday sale you had. Guess what I’m getting from Santa this year, but I had to make a couple contacts before wrapping it up. The shipping was real quick too.

Xiegu G90
Great little radio with a lot of features found in more expensive radios, such as a built-in antenna tuner and SWR bridge to name just two! 20 watts is a sweet spot for QRP work to be heard by others on the bands! Looking forward to giving my G90 a workout this weekend with my new end fed random wire antenna.

G90
1 Great receiver as good if not slightly better than the I C 7300 test on weak signals were just about the same in the g 90 as with the ic 7300 2 filters for adjacent signal noise works very good along with the noise banger which are all adjustable. 3 every station I heard even week I was able to work 4 I found it very easy to work with also enjoyed making so many contacts with so little power. 5 the antenna tuner seems to tune up to anything and fast. 6 my audio reports that were given to me were the same as the 7300 couldn’t tell that I was on the G90 . 7 the display is small but very easy to see colorful and easy to read I had no problem using it even with my eyes.. Now what I did’n like 1 no ext speaker jack, but you can use the phone jack and put it in to a power amp then it sounds like a base station quality radio 2 has tricky memory set up 3 should use a fan if you run the unit for long periods of time on transmit I bought one from connect systems for the unit it has a heat sensor on it works well but a little bit noisy. 4 the buttons are kind of small kind of hard to see but a lot of the controls can't be done with the remote microphone which has a little button display.

Xiegu G90
What a great little radio! The display, including the waterfall in particular, is beautiful: clear, colorful and easy to read. Filter controls appear effective. I'm just starting to scratch the surface of this very capable radio, but look forward to exploring all of its features in depth.

Xiegu g90 ham raido
The radio is just what I wanted. But its a little hard to understand how to operate it. Also the radio should come with the cat program so u dont have to hunt it all down.. and end up trying this and that.. the raido should have a usb or a serial port on the back . To make it easier to program also u should not have to program the head and the body separately. Other then that I like it.

G90 ...Excellent!
I've only had the G90 for a week. So far, I'm pretty impressed. It arrived with firmware version 1.74, which has a well known glitch regarding frequency step size by pressing the tuning knob. Upgrading to firmware version 1.75 solved this problem. There is definitely a learning curve, as is pretty normal with any modern rig. The display is small, but bright and sharp. Very easy to read, even at my age. No cheap plastic housing... Solid steel/aluminum construction. I'll likely have to wait until spring to give it a workout in the field. If, like me, you're not a big time QRP operator, you will really appreciate the 20 watt power output. My only complaint regarding operational capability is the fixed SSB transmit bandwidth of 2.4Khz. Would be nice to be able to open it up to 2.8 or even 3Khz. My guess is that may be addressed in a future firmware release. One other shortcoming is there is no built-in mechanical tilt up function. Not a problem in the shack where the G90 sits on a shelf at eye level, but a bit of a pain in the field. Otherwise this rig is feature packed, with plenty of bells and whistles. Capabilities that are well beyond what one might expect at this price point. I'm still learning and having fun. Isn't that really what it's all about?... W1AIU

Xeigu G90
Unbelievable radio for the price. Many features you would only find in a much higher priced radio. Like antenna tuner, antenna analyzer and code reader. Connect Systems was great with fast service.

New Xiegu G90 purchased
The order handling and shipping was done very quickly. The unit actually arrived a couple of days ahead of schedule after traveling across the country. It arrived in good shape and operates as advertised. Other than the manual being typical Chinese crapola and 1 or 2 pet peeves that might be addressed in future software updates I like the radio and consider it a top value for the price. I appreciate the free shipping without the normal pricing gimmick of advertising a low price only to see that it is raised considerably to the competitors up front pricing with the shipping charges. Well done. Will definitely keep your company on my list of preferred businesses.

New Ham, First radio. Love it.
Not having and unlimited budget, I thought I would have to start out with a low end radio. When I saw I could get SDR and a waterfall display as well as full HF coverage and an antenna tuner / analyzer in a package for under $500 I had to try it out. It's true the radio is tiny but who needs a giant box taking up their whole desk anyway? This way I can take it in the car if I want to go mobile as well as taking it on field days. the radio works great and I made two DX contacts on my first day using a homemade 10 m dipole at the low point in the sunspot cycle. It's simple to use and I would recommend it to anyone as long as the small size is not a problem. Getting the radio from a US-based company for the service and support is something I'm really happy about and shipping was very fast. Thanks CSI!
