This is the speaker mike for the BFDX CS580. This microphone uses a proprietary connector that makes it uniquely compatible with the CS580. There are no other microphones made by other companies compatible with the CS580 DMR radio.

Good mic
I’ve used this mic on a few DMR nets and QSOs and have been told I sound fine. I am not sure of the ruggedness of the mic, but for the price, and for indoor/vehicular use, it suits me just fine.

Great mic, feels more like an expensive motorola style than a cheap aftermarket light weight mic. Very good sound and good pressure PTT.

Good mic, but hot.
Once I got used to talking softer, this thing works wonderfully. Good quality, picks up too good, however. Nothing you can't get used to though.

Good Speaker Mic
This speaker mic is very loud. I like the fact I don't have to worry about it coming out of the the radio. Seems to be we constructed.

I really like the positive connection with no worry of becoming unplugged. The speaker is as loud as the one in the radio. Well worth the price.
